Work out where you stand before you buy anything
Most sites explaining Australian peptide law are run by people selling peptides. This one is not.
If you read one thing
Almost nothing sold as a research peptide can be bought legally in Australia without a prescription, and 7 of the 15 compounds we list are illegal to possess without one.
That second part is the bit most pages leave out, and it changes who carries the legal risk. See the status of each compound, read from the Poisons Standard on 1 August 2026.

Find out if it is legal
The status of every compound we list, with the schedule it sits in and what that means in practice. Sourced to the instrument, not to another website.
Talk to someone who can prescribe
The lawful route runs through a doctor. This is who can actually prescribe in Australia, and what to ask them.
Check how we know
Where our information comes from, what we refuse to publish, and why there are no dosages anywhere on this site.
Why trust a directory over a vendor
A vendor explaining whether their product is legal has an obvious problem. Search for peptide legality in Australia and nearly every result is a store, which is why the same errors circulate unchallenged. One example we found while building this: several Australian peptide sites report that Melanotan II has been reclassified as a prohibited substance. It has not been, and anyone acting on that has a worse picture of their position than the law gives them.
We sell nothing, take no vendor payments, and mark every outbound link nofollow so it earns us nothing. That is the entire business model, and it is the only reason to read us instead of a shop.
